Just wanted to check-in, and say I'm fine and all. I'm glad that everything seems to be winding down, and that those responsible are being brought to justice. We're okay. Not great, but is anyone really great these days? Azkaban was bad; don't really want to get into it. Jo said that I should probably write this, and you know how that goes. What she wants she gets.
I'm also really sorry I ever defended the Ministry in anything, and if I was an arse about the people who stood up against the Carrows, I'm really really double-sorry about that.

All right, so I don't know what Looney Luna is supposed to have done, but I doubt it warranted the rough way they handled her. I don't even-- ugh.
Anyway. Christmas carolers! So far I've got Leah Dawlish, Brownie Smethwyck, Jo Dorny, Ross Anderson, Josh Summers, and Lisa Turpin who expressed interest in drowning out my attempts at warbling, but we'd love more! I was thinking that we'd do it on the 23rd? Since things are rubbish and I'd prefer us to be as safe as possible, how about we apparate in to St. Mungo's and sing at the wards, there? Any objections or ideas?
Edited to Add: Meeting in the lobby of St. Mungos on the 23rd around 7 o'clock all right with everyone?

So yesterday was absolutely mad. Moral of this story: people use mistletoe as an excuse to go absolutely raving-loony.
But anyway! Christmas is my favourite holiday and I know that a lot of people aren't going to be able to go home for it (bummer, guys - let me know if there are any presents or mail or whatever you want me to deliver! Use me as a one-man owl! But without the creepy-intense eyes), but for those who are going home - who wants to get a group together and go caroling?! I love caroling. I sound like a pelican gargling water, but caroling's fun, and I think we could all do with some fun this year, yeah? I was thinking maybe we could go do it at an orphanage, unless someone has some other ideas?
I was thinking something pretty close in to Christmas. Obviously we'd want to avoid the Full Moon. Anyway, just let me know if you're interested here, and I'll try to organize something!

Haven't gotten a letter from home in weeks. I guess that means I'm on someone's shit list? No longer a Skyward Student, which was a bunch of bunk anyway so no regrets there, I suppose. But Merlin, Bianca and Melinda, fighting one another? What was that on about? What are those posters on about? Why is this House falling apart? We're Ravenclaws, for Merlin's sakes. We should know better.
And now Drew's in the hospital not a few days after he gets a new Skyward.
I guess with Skyward being done that I screwed up my chances for the Auror program. Maybe With any luck the war will be over by the time I'm out of school.
There's no use in being depressed about it.
I hate my life.

ALL RIGHT. I’ve seen Jo in the Hospital Wing and I can’t keep my mouth shut anymore. If you hurt Jo Dorny in ANY capacity yesterday, or if you know of someone who did, please leave me a comment. I’d ask Jo for this information, but she’s got minor retrograde amnesia as a result of a concussion, and she can’t remember the battle.
I want specifics. The reason why is because regardless of my general irritation toward Harry Potter, at least he’s not here in the castle tossing spells in the Great Hall in front of children and my girlfriend best friend Jo. You hurt her? You’re off my Christmas owl list and you’re out of my life. I can put up with some nasty behaviour from the Puristy Purists of Puredonia but I am NOT going to put up with that.
You lot should be ashamed of yourselves.

So my sister's getting married. They've not set a date or anything, but she mentioned something about next summer, maybe. Judy's been dating Jonathan for about three years now. None of us are really surprised, and I mean, I'm really excited about it, but from what Mum wrote me, she's really in the shit with our grandparents. Grandmother and Grandfather aren't really Purists but they're sort of conservative. Anyway, Jonathan's a "halfblood" (you likely get my drift as to why I use quotation marks). He's got papers and everything, but... yeah, you can guess how that's going.
My grandparents told Judy that she was putting a target on her head. Didn't even say "congratulations" first. Judy's strong; she told them where to shove it, but I know she's still upset.
Wish that her happiness didn't have to be qualified by this idiotic pandering to elitism.
